The Great Adventure of Life

Not too ago I was reading a popular news magazine and saw some words that appeared, not out of place, but rather, outstanding. I read the phrase aloud to my wife and handed her the magazine to read for herself. After a few minutes she said that she didn't see the words that I had spoken to her and handed the magazine back for me to reread. I did reread it and to my surprise the words were not there! Were my eyes playing tricks on me? I surmised that God was showing me a great truth. Which, I know personally all too well. These are the words I read: Hell is... Truth discovered too late.

The question of "what is truth?" is perhaps the most debated question of our time. At Jesus' trial before Pilot, the Roman ruler, (as the disciple John records in his gospel), in response to Jesus' statement that He is the Truth, Pilot stated "what is truth?" and ended the conversation. The response to that statement is in my estimation the difference between eternal life and eternal death. Which is why I call this blog A Great Journey. To me the most worthwhile aim of life is the journey to discover that Jesus is the Truth. It is important to be on the right path of life because 1). There is only one right path - Jesus says, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6. 2). If not now, one day we will all face crisis and adversity. The question will be "What do I have to bear me up, to encourage me on and to give me strength and hope?" I have found that your journey with Christ and the good times will be the only things that will be supportive in the bad times. So, you cannot wait until the bad times come upon you. This is the fruit of a life of faith.

Thanks for starting this work! I hope that you'll keep this blog up so that we can continue to be inspired as we journey with you, and encouraged by your great journey throughout the years.
This process has been and will be instructive for us, because to Live is Christ, and Die is Gain. And thanks to such an example as your, I can say this with all the strength of my heart, too.

Faith, Hope and Love.

Well said Rob... the question must be answered by all of us and sooner is better! It would seem to me that this one verse alone (John 14:6) testifies to the one and only true God. If this is the case - and I believe it is - then the lies are rampant regarding many other good yet lost people who are following many false gods. May the truth be revealed in a supernatural way to us all... for there is much at stake.

Blessings... RDB

Hello!!! a huge hog from an old spanish friend.

First of all I apologize for my english: maybe sometimes I don't express myself in the way I lwould like but anyways I will try my best.

Reading your thoughts and thinking about old conversations,I can only say that I really admire you, and day by day more and more: it's incredible to me how courageus you are, how brave to face your not easy situation. Your serenity in this hard fight you are winning.

And you are winning because, life at the end is just an intermediate stage before the final "prize": Jesus and you are walking trough it firm without any doubts in your faith and in what you want. So that's the key and you are lucky in that way. Many people, plenty of health, don't have this: they don't clary see or even they do not have that principle aim in their life.I am among that people and I would like to follow your example. I promise you

I will try to get the book but it will be hard to find it out in Spain : Maybe I can get it on internet?

All my love to you and all your family. I keep you in the deepness of my heart and mind and that it will be forever.

Take care and keep the way, racing driver.

I sent this link on to my cousin with RSD who, like you, continues a great work despite physical pain and difficulty.

God bless you.
